OUR STORY
3rd Generation Family-Owned Business
Located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Double N Farms is a 3rd generation family farm. Started in 2022, 5N pastures is the consumer branch of Double N Farms. We as a family began to realize how important it was to know how our food is grown and how it is processed. We soon began to see that other people felt the same.
When you purchase from 5N Pastures, we want you to feel confident that you are getting an ethically grown and humanely raised product that is always free of antibiotics and hormones!

We practice rotational grazing, so our animals have dense forages to graze on 80% of the year

Parasite control and life-saving medications are given strictly on an as-needed basis

We do not, nor will ever, use mRNA vaccines

We utilize in-pasture chicken tractors, so our broilers can be moved to new ground daily

Our hens have free range access to pasture when the weather permits

Our eggs are packaged in our own State Licensed and Inspected Facility

Using management intensive grazing, we are able to be a pasture-raised and forage based operation, only supplementing with feed as needed

All of our animals are finished out on pasture with free choice grain, rather than being stalled to finish out on feed

All of our processing is done through a USDA inspected facility.
